Dr. Derek Levy, DC
Dr. Derek Levy was born in Southern California, raised in Hermosa Beach and never left. He grew up doing anything that had to do with the ocean – surfing, paddling, swimming, kayaking, etc. He also loves beach volleyball, snowboarding, rock climbing and is involved in a music band.
Dr. Levy raised three children – Samantha, Molly, and Luke – who all grew up playing on the beach. He is married to Brenda, who is a successful CPA as well as a yoga therapist who loves dancing and other forms of graceful movements. Dr. Levy and Brenda are now busy raising their twin boys. Travis and Riley.
Dr. Levy graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College and became a licensed Chiropractor in 1983 and has been practicing since. He has been voted "Best Chiropractor in the South Bay" multiple times.
Dr. Levy's success is based on the belief that his patient's needs are of the utmost importance. The office is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of the practice is from repeat patients and referrals.

Teresa Graves - Office Manager
Teresa has been working in the medical field for over 10 years as an Office Manager and joins us with many years of customer service experience as well. Teresa holds an AA in Administration of Justice from LA Valley College and a certification in HR Management. Most recently, she worked for an Optometrist as an ABO Certified Optician in Santa Monica. However, she really wanted to work closer to home in the South Bay and luckily found us!
Teresa had never been to a chiropractor when she joined our team and was quite nervous about the treatment. Dr. Levy gave her an adjustment shortly after she started and now she is a regular. 😊 Teresa has never felt better working at a computer all day!
Teresa was born and raised in Los Angeles and enjoys spending her weekends with her family and her amazing husband, Jerome. They keep themselves quite busy with their eight cats and dogs: Lady, Nyla, Scruffy, Midget, Ace, Pickles, Zynk, and Snickers. In her free time, Teresa loves to read thriller and horror novels and take long motorcycle rides on her Harley!

Brenda Levy - Billing and Administration
Brenda is Dr. Levy’s wife and the mother of their twin boys, Travis and Riley. Brenda completed her undergraduate education at Vanderbilt University and Northeastern University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and graduating Valedictorian. After graduation, she began a career as an accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston, MA and Albany, NY and at the same time continued her studies at Northeastern University completing her Master’s in Taxation and earning her CPA license.
In 2008, Brenda moved across the country after accepting an accounting management position with DIRECTV and decided she wanted to learn to surf. Well guess who offered to teach her?! None other than the South Bay Surf Legend Dr. Levy. 😊 They fell in love and the rest is history!
Brenda still cannot surf because she does not like to listen to her husband, but she has studied medical billing extensively and enjoys running the office from behind the scenes. She applies her love for numbers to the business by managing the billing and contracting for over 60 health insurance companies. Brenda is constantly working on growing the business and implementing new systems and software to keep pace with technological advancements in the industry.
